 Casio Electronics Co. Ltd. have just announced the new IT-9000 series of industrial handheld terminals. The DT-X8 terminals can withstand a 1.5 metre drops and is IP54 environmental rating for dust and water protection. The stylish IT-300 terminal has a 3.7 inch Blanview® LCD screen with innovative touchscreen technology to provide a brighter screen and also make it easier to browse and zoom into documents. (2/4/2009) RHEILFFORDD FFESTINIOG RAILWAY

 After completing the extension of their railway network, RHEILFFORDD FFESTINIOG RAILWAY awarded the contract to BNE Electronics Ltd. for the supply of their new train ticketing system. They will be using the new CASIO IT3100 terminals, with their patented CASIO screen for enhanced visibility, in conjunction with BNE Electronics Ltd. TicketPOS software to set up and manage their tickets and analyse their sales.
Mr. Phil Brown, Deputy Operations Manager for Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, commented
